I wouldn't call it hate. I't smore like sissy girly disappointment. I'm a lil guilty but I still hold the game high for it's elements. I think they should've went a different direction than bringing it back to Liberty City. These people are probably related to John Kerry, Hilary Clinton and John McCain with the flip-flopping. Regardless, it was a great game that stepped over the boundaires. The only problem was it did it in an area that had been done before so there wasn't too much legroom.

the way i look at it, if i love a game. i always will. just at some point in time ill want to put it down cus im sick of it at the moment. i know i like it, just like im not in the mood for it. so in the future ill be down to play it again cus i still love it. an people probably just dont know how to express that so they just hate on it? cus at the time theyre sick of it? i dont know. thats just how im looking at it, cus thats how i get. i could be wrong?

i dont hate the game but it wasnt my kinda game. these people changing there minds may have been awe stricken when they first started playing it with all the options and things in the game which i'll admit seem at first like they will be amazing, then actually get into the meat of the game and realize they dont really like it and get aggrevated that they had such high hopes for it and they didnt end up liking it. it may be one of the years best games, but not on my list...

wouldnt call it hate more along the lines of disapointment in it...There was just way to much hype surounding it and it hurt the game drastically ...but its rockstars fault tho

i don't get it either duder. i think it's a great game. i still haven't finished it yet, but it is cool. i also have to go back and try multiplayer on line too.

I feel the same way bro. Just because people don't play the online as much as CoD4 doesn't mean it's a bad game. In reality, I think the game as a whole is even better than CoD4. So far it's still got my vote for game of the year.

I loved playing the main storyline of the game. That said, it took me so long to complete that I'm not at all interested in getting the 100% completetion. I've also seen mixed reviews on the mp as well so I have yet to try it.

it was fun but it just didnt have enough depth. i never really hyped it very much and im glad i didnt i would rank gta4 probably 8.5 outa 10

I still love it, It's a great game, and I love the way it's realistic. Online makes it even greater.

it was a great game. it just died quickly. quiker than a game that got a ten should.

Overhyped definitely. If I had a PS3 and have bought it at launch maybe my reaction would've been different. But since I got MGS4 a day before GTA, I was seriously disappointed and for some reason I can't get back on finishing the story. I only play online when my friends call me out.
