NOT your poll. This has been asked before in almost the exact same way. Only once but it's been asked. Yes b/c it's a different gamestyle but of the same gameplay plus there's a huge difference of playing with AI and with people. However, playing against a person can make or break the MP.

I thought Halo 3 did, I didnt like the campaign, but MP was fun for a while untill i discovered a game called cod4

I am not much for cod4 campaign but addicted to multiplayer so, yes.

Absolutely! The multiplayer is generally what keeps you interested longer. I'm all about staying entertained while stretching the dollar.

Spooky

And the answer is ... *drum roll* ... Halo 3. Poor campaign, but rockin' MP. I'm not even a fan of Halo, this was the first one I ever played, but I must say that online it was pretty sweet. Then I got CoD4 ...

Thurminator

i suppose, but it has to be a pretty bangin story mode to make up for a shitty campaign.

Answered 2 months ago by Thurminator

weezerzeke

It can. And that largely depends on the game. Some games are really built around the multiplayer and the singleplayer was only put in as an after thought.

Ruien

I don't think it does, I would prefer a really good single player over multiplayer for any game.

HITman1995

It depends on how killer the multiplayer is and how crappy the single player is. Most of the time though I think it does.

jrcharles1993

yea, it makes up for it completely

Answered 2 months ago by jrcharles1993

Quinion

it doesnt completely make up for it, but it does add value to the game

BrandAid1138

i don't think so. i play many of my games single campaign first and then the multiplayer option. a great game has both of these things.
